Friday Tristan had his Valentines Party at school and we had fun {or maybe just me} getting his valentines ready to pass out to his classmates and teachers. Since he is getting older I am really really trying to get him more involved in these projects that I have always just done for him. I cut out some tags using my cricket, then he stamped thumbprint hearts on the tags, and wrote his name on the tags. {You would have thought he was being tortured... writing his name 23 times was hard work..haha}
I let Tristan pick what kind of ribbon he wanted to put around the lid..adding that special touch. I cut the ribbon and hot glued it on the lid. We filled the jar with M&Ms and tied the tag around the lid with raffia.
{for his classmates:}
happy valentines day!
xoxo

Wow, you went all out and I'm impressed that he was so much help. I love the idea of the heart thumbprints! I'll be remembering that for next year! I love your blog - it is an inspiration!
