Don't be afraid of Paint!

If you would like to change a room and you do not want to spend a lot of money...Paint it! It is amazing how paint will completely change something!! And the good thing about paint is... if you don't like it or it was the wrong color-- Paint it Again!

{I have painted just about everything}

Here is a picture of the lovely desk I found at an antique store. I loved the size and design of it...just not the color. I did not even know what it said..haha

Here is what paint can do to:

Here is how I transformed the desk:

- decided on paint colors

- taped off the top of the desk for stripes

(you can get the blue tape from Home Depot or Lowe's and it comes in many different sizes)

-painted & aged the desk (sanded it with sand paper)

-There you go...a New Desk!

In my entry, dining, movie room, boys rooms, both bathrooms, kitchen, livingroom, and laundry room. There is something about the warm and inviting feel lamps give when you enter a room.
